International participants are reminded that all visitors to Australia must have a valid visa or appropriate authority to travel to and enter Australia. Visa requirements vary depending on nationality, passport held and the purpose of travel.
Participants attending the APFAN PT6 International Workshop should check their visa requirements with the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs well in advance of travel.
For participants attending a conference, meeting or seminar and not being paid by the organisers, the Business Visitor stream of the Visitor visa (subclass 600) may be an appropriate option. However, other visa options may apply depending on individual circumstances.
Participants are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible, as visa processing times can vary. Applications requiring additional information or documentation may take longer to process.
